Mlada Fronta – electronic music stars fall on VAULT.

02 09 05. Located at the old military bunker (99 Subačiaus St.), underground club VAULT will be hollowed by the noisiest sounds ever this autumn. The venue of this exclusive performance in Lithuania has been targeted by Mlada Fronta, top famous French creators of experimental electronic music over the world. These artists are keen on performing in non-traditional places, i.e. their gig took place in synagogue in Romania, by stating that musical concepts are much more implemented in specific atmosphere dimensions.

As a project Mlada Fronta was formed in 1992. Upon releasing 5 CD’s, they managed to earn fame as one of the most innovative creators of experimental electronic music in Europe. These French artists used to play with headliners in one of the most notable industrial music festival in Germany – “Maschinenfest”, they also own the record office “Parametric”.

The local fans will be honoured by even a few programmes of Mlada Fronta. The key part of the performance will be featured by audiovisual material from the latest DVD “Dioxydes”. Artists propose that this experimental work is dedicated to the cinema and to John Carpenter personally. That is precisely glanced audiovisual integration into the urban psychogeography, into the postindustrial structures. That is the real world reflections – cities, landscapes framed through the specific, abstract but extreme prospect of art. For that purpose, Mlada Fronta is going to transport the high-powered video projector, screen and even the technical staff. The next part of the performance will be purely rhythmical. The front face of Mlada Fronta – Remy is going to present the driving industrial set. More over, the French commando will be sided by another famous electronic music artist from Switzerland, already known to Lithuanian audience – Jerome aka Mimetic. He will master the electronic drums.

Guests will share the performance with the local experimental electronic music pioneer McKaras and project Agyria. Starting at 22.00. Ticket price 25 Lt.
