ICETODIRON 2010: Feast in Time of Plague

While the countrymen desperately evacuate Lithuania and the country is gradually slumping into total dictatorship, Autarkeia, an independent label of nasty music, has decided to celebrate and mark these decadent and fatal times by a grand industrial music festival. Besides, the time of the year suits this well: frost, darkness and emptiness, all of us deep in depression, apathy, suicidal tendencies and anticipation of approaching repressions. Three years of peace have passed and the maniacs are back on the track with the new inspiration to feast in time of plague. Autarkeia label has rallied a company of experienced and hardened criminals that are not new to this. No place for romance in the festival. The audience will be crushed only by the extreme and non-compromising sound as well as incorrect video projections since all festival participants promote cultural terrorism and social critique. The festival will feature these masters: the British Mike Dando and his well-known CON-DOM (control domination), American Michael Nine, the author of cult project DEATH SQUAD, and the Autarkeia’s Swedish star Kristian Olsson who will give two shows. He will play his solo set of the tapes and then will rage on the stage with ALFARMANIA flag and Tbilisi spades together with Tony. The foreigners will be joined by Lithuanian BODY CARGO and POGROM, representing the new generation PE/postmortem. Death industrial project VOLKSMORG will make its debut during the festival, too. The festival of ice, iron and death will open in Vilnius club Moulin Rouge, Putino g. 5, at 10 pm, Saturday, 11 December. Ticket price: LTL 30. More information at autarkeia.org. Minors unaccompanied by their breeders will not be allowed to enter.
