JARL "Hypnagogoc Domain" CAS. Never published sound material of Swedish composer Erik Jarl dating back to 2007-2008. Here we have very suggestive ambient music conveying Erik’s experience in anomalous hypnagogic states that he often used to find himself in before. In Middle Ages, one believed that this state is induced by a daemon sitting on one’s body. This is a phenomenon of the mind.

Threshold consciousness [commonly called "half-asleep" or "half-awake", or "Mind Awake Body Asleep"] describes the same mental state of someone who is moving towards sleep or wakefulness but has not yet completed the transition. Such transitions are usually brief, but can be extended by sleep disturbance or deliberate induction, for example during meditation.
